In a Q and A video from 2018, Scar recounted what happened in 2007, when he was rushed to hospital with breathing difficulties and had to have a trach tube installed through his neck in order to breathe. Ross also points out that trauma can have a lasting effect on the brain and lead to the development of mental health problems and illnesses, including anxiety, depression, and PTSD, as well as chronic or serious health issues, including heart disease.
